Privacy policy

This policy explains what Plainstreet Studio collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. The short version: we collect very little, we don't sell anything, and we don't track visitors.
What we collect
- Public business information used to build previews: business name, address, phone, hours, and similar details published on maps and directory listings.
- What you send us by email or through our forms: your name, business, email address, phone number and message.
- Client details needed to run your site: contact details, your domain, and the content of your site.
- Payment information is collected by our payment processor (Whop), not by us. We see the name, email, amount and status of a payment, but never your full card number.
What we don't do
We don't use analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels on this website or on the sites we build for clients (unless a client asks us to add them to their own site). We don't sell or rent personal information.
Who processes data for us
- Cloudflare, which hosts our websites and handles our email routing.
- Our email provider, for sending and receiving email.
- Whop, for payments.
- Pages CMS and GitHub, which store client site content and power the editor.
Hosting providers keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability.
How long we keep it
Previews are deleted when they expire or when the business asks us to remove them. If a business asks us not to contact it again, we keep its name and contact address on a do-not-contact list so we can honor that. Client records are kept while you're a client and for as long as tax and accounting rules require afterwards.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond within 30 days, usually much sooner. Business owners can have a preview removed at any time using our removal form.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above.
